I am incredibly excited to join the CHP staff as a Middle School Social Studies teacher. The study of History has been a lifelong pursuit of mine, and I am excited to share my knowledge and passion for the subject with the students. After graduating from Temple University with a Bachelor’s in English and a minor in History, I have accrued a wide variety of instructional experiences from tutoring for the SATs to teaching English as a Second Language abroad.

I believe in a holistic approach to learning. In my Social Studies classes, as I guide students to develop an understanding of their own place within the wider world, they will apply skills from all subject areas – the logic of Mathematics, critical analysis of Language Arts, and the evidence-based spirit of Scientific inquiry. We live in a time of great change. I consider it my duty to equip the next generation with the skills necessary to tackle the problems of our age with creativity, compassion, and resolve.
