After learning about Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos), Cedar Hill Prep School 3rd grade analyzed the meaning behind one of the holiday’s biggest symbols: the Marigold flower. Using origami, students created three 3D marigolds using orange tissue paper. Students were able to connect art, history, culture, and world languages to this art project.
