Why CHP?
A child’s cognitive and social interactions are most crucial between the ages of 3-6. Cedar Hill Prep’s curriculum is centered around laying a strong foundation for early childhood development.
We are proud to announce that we are now a candidate for the world-renowned International Baccalaureate Program. The inquiry-based Primary Years Program directly aligns with our cross-disciplinary model of teaching and learning.
At Cedar Hill Prep (CHP), we maintain intimate class sizes in the elementary classrooms, thereby ensuring that teachers can give 1:1 attention to every student and cumulate a curriculum that is individualized and suitable to each child.
Our Faculty
Our teachers are constantly improving and are abreast with the latest developments in the field. Some of our elementary school teachers have mastered the Orton-Gillingham phonicsbased curriculum, which focuses on setting strong foundations for reading skills particularly helpful for children with Dyslexia.
Our Curriculum
CHP is proud to announce that we are the only school in the area offering the Creative Curriculum® as part of our early childhood program. The Creative Curriculum® is a research-based, handson program that enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.
We believe that students thrive in an environment that allows them to realize their potential by incorporating inquirybased learning.

- Notice patterns of letters in words

Multicultural Learning
CHP recognizes the importance of including cultural differences in all aspects of learning. Diversity means much more than racial and ethnic differences. We explore the benefits of diversity and work together to build an ethnically inclusive community in celebration of those differences.
Physical Education
Physical Education classes offer numerous benefits to the students at CHP. We believe in emphasizing the significance of regular fitness to create a conducive learning environment. Our classes cater to children of all ages and help them develop their locomotor skills, strength, flexibility, and aerobic capacity. Additionally, we focus on building their self-confidence and enhancing communication skills through teamwork and sportsmanship.

Experiential Learning
Experiential Learning A nine-acre school campus makes learning dynamic and continuous for our children. The natural surroundings, playgrounds and free space make spontaneous learning part of their daily experience as they stroll around our campus.
The children interact with nature all around them in the context of a variety of classes, from science to art, turning the grounds of the campus itself into a schoolwide classroom.
