Cedar Hill Prep School offers a wide variety of After School Clubs and Programs to meet the age, interests and needs of our students. Activities are offered quarterly with each session running approximately 6-8 weeks. Parent pick-up is required in order to have your child(ren) participate in the After School program. If parents are late to pick up their child(ren) in the appropriate time, their child(ren) will be sent to Aftercare which they will incur a charge for the time spent in Aftercare.
Aftercare days/times are as follows: Monday – Friday 2:30pm – 6:00pm (depending on grade). Anyone picked up after 6:00pm will incur a late fee paid in cash to the supervising counselor at the time of pick-up. Please refer to the Tuition Form for Aftercare prices.

Reading and Writing Club Kindergarten
An after school club run by Ruth Sulitzer (Kindergarten Teacher) and Karen Holstein (Preschool Teacher) for kindergarten students with the emphasis on story comprehension and writing activities that will enhance a child’s creativity and imagination as well as strengthen each child’s skill set.
Amber Davis, a second grade student at Cedar Hill Preparatory School, performed at a Carnegie Hall recital on November 17th. Amber received third prize for her solo piano devotee and the Emmett Award for being the youngest bright talent. Congratulations Amber!
Ellen Callahan, CHP Middle School Teacher / Social Studies, began her story many years ago as a seed planted in another time waiting to take root and grow. In the early ‘80s, she began her journey as an educator working with physically and intellectually challenged children. It was hard work, and the children often made very minimal progress.
