MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER / SCIENCE
I am excited to be a member of the Cedar Hill Prep Faculty as a Middle School Teacher of Science!
Previously, I was a 5th grade teacher at Woodbrook Elementary School in Edison, N.J. for several years and an educator for over ten years in the East Brunswick school system. I have also been an adjunct instructor at Middlesex County College for Developmental Reading and Writing.
My academic background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kean University as well as a Master of Science Degree from Walden University. I have continued my professional journey by receiving my Ed. S. in Reading and Literacy Leadership and aspire to complete my doctoral dissertation. You can certainly say I am a lifelong learner!
I enjoy being part of the extraordinary team of students, parents, teachers, and staff at Cedar Hill Prep School!
CHP Debate Championship Cedar Hill Prep School walked away with the following awards at the NJ Debate Championship: number 1 team: Agni Rajnikanth, Keyon Majidi and Matthew Clarke, number 1 school and most points at the tournament. The final debate topic that clinched the tournament championship was Facial Recognition Technology Does More Harm than Good. We are all very proud of our teams!
Understanding Standardized Testing In New Jersey Most parents are confused about standardized tests. Trying to research and understand what standardized tests are all about is daunting. Taking it can be stressful for your child because the process seems opaque or unnecessary, or you may question the validity of these tests. We don’t ever want you to feel in the dark about your child’s education, so we are hoping that this can help you understand standardized testing a little better — what it is, how it is administered, how it is used by the State, and what you can do to help ease your student’s mind about the process.
