MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER / MATH
I am a Middle School Math teacher at Cedar Hill Prep. I started my career in Accounting and Business in Miami, after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and MIS, and an MBA in MIS, both from Florida International University. While working in the business sector, I found my true calling was helping others and teaching students. Luckily, NYC was looking for Career Changers to go into the field of Education. Through a NYC Teaching Fellowship, I earned my Master’s Degree in Education in Mathematics while teaching at-risk students in Manhattan, NYC.
I truly enjoy working with the Middle School students at CHP, teaching Math in a way that they understand, challenging them, integrating it to the real world, and generating a love for the subject!

Preschool, Elementary, or Middle School — When Does Private School Make The Most Sense? There is no question about whether or not a private school will significantly impact your child’s intellectual, personal, and interpersonal development. However, quite often, parents ask themselves: Does it make more sense to start early, or can I “skip” the first years and start in middle school when it starts counting towards their academic resume?
