Our return from Winter Break was quite busy as students in grades 3 – 8 prepared for the annual Spelling Bee. The first stage of the competition involved the Classroom Bees. The winners from each grade then advanced to the CHP Spelling Bee.
On the morning of January 12th, the CHP community gathered in the gym to show support for the fourteen contestants as they competed in our annual Spelling Bee. The entire competition was quite impressive and lasted 2 ½ hours…and 49 rounds!
Congratulations the Anush Polamraju (1st place winner) and Vikram Renganathan (2nd place winner) for their amazing performance! Both will advance to the County Wide Spelling Bee on March 10th with our best wishes!
