Grade 4 Holiday Celebration

During December, as the 4th graders shared their various holiday traditions with one another, a common theme appeared among all the traditions discussed…COOKIES!  And so… this served as the basis for the Grade 4 Holiday Celebration on December 13th…. a Cookie Decorating Party!

The atmosphere was set…students dressed in snuggly pajamas…hot chocolate simmering in the urn…the table set with wonderfully decorative tableware and paper goods.  Excitement ran high!!! An enticing work station was filled with bowls of rainbow and chocolate sprinkles, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and icings of various colors.  Each student experienced the joy of decorating their own cookie…sipping yummy hot chocolate…and eating their creations as they enjoyed watching Polar Express.

It was a wonderful way to usher in our Winter Break…and was a terrific prelude to the evening’s Winter Concert. A special thank you to our Grade 4 parents for their generous contributions to our holiday celebration!
