Closing of schools did not stop third graders from enjoying the company of the mystery reader. Since the school is offering instructions on zoom, third graders welcomed the mystery reader virtually. The students were surprised by Ritu Anand, Kiara’s mom. She read a wonderful book called “Lovely Beasts: The Surprising Truth” by Kate Gardner. This captivating book invites the reader to look beyond their first impressions at the awe-inspiring animals in the wild. After all, it’s best not to judge a beast until you understand its full, lovely life. The students loved her animated reading. Thank you for being our first ever virtual mystery reader.
