Grandparents Day

Grandparents are our heritage and are essential and loving members of our families and communities.  In honor of National Grandparents Day, Cedar Hill Prep’s kindergarten children held their annual Grandparents Day Celebration! First Mystery Reader of the Year for Grade 3

Third Grade welcomed their first Mystery Reader for this year, Mrs. Boric, Finn and Vander's mom. She read a beautiful book, The Sound of Silence  by Katrina Goldsaito. Assisted Living Reader

The Preschool class at Cedar Hill Prep was visited by Miss Muriel from the Martin and Edith Stein Assisted Living Residence. Miss Muriel read a book called, Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf. Kindergarten Visit to Assisted Living

On October 3rd, both of Cedar Hill Prep’s Kindergarten classes and their teachers visited their elderly friends at the Martin and Edith Stein Assisted Living Residence. The children engaged the residents as they joined together to say the Pledge of Allegiance and then sang patriotic songs. The show continued with a performance of three "grandparent" songs.
