Dr. Randal Pinkett Inspires CHP 5th Graders to Become Writers

On Wednesday, December 13, Dr. Randal Pinkett, was a guest speaker in Mrs. Whalen’s 5th grade Language Arts class. Dr. Pinkett, an entrepreneur, speaker, author, and community servant shared his experiences as an author and entrepreneur with the students. A Winter Tea Party

Mrs. Whalen’s sixth grade language arts class recently completed the novel The View From Saturday, by E.L. Konigsburg. The novel centers around four sixth grade students who come together to form an academic bowl team. Through their separate journeys, they become friends and also a winning team.
